Future Plans
At UMD
I plan to continue to work hard, taking about 15 credits per semester and graduate in 2023. I will be sure to fully engage in my course work so that I am as prepared as possible to enter the professional engineering field. While at UMD I also want to continue networking. I will do this by forming connections with my professors, advisors, friends, people I meet through Greek life, and more. Lastly, I would like to build my leadership skills my securing a chair or executive position in my sorority next year.
After Graduation
I am eager to contribute to an organization in a meaningful position that utilizes current engineering skills and provides opportunities to learn. One of the fields I am interested in is the design and manufacturing of prosthetics. This is because I have a personal connection to the disabled community. That being said, I am excited to apply my skills wherever I am needed in the MD, PA, or DC areas.
